  • Emulsogen LCN 118
    Emulsogen LCN 118 is used as a nonionic emulsifier for emulsion polymerization improving the shear, temperature and electrolyte stability of polymer dispersions. The recommended usage is 2% active based on monomers.In waterborne and solvent-borne lacquers (low PVC), Emulsogen LCN 118 can be used as a compatibilizer to improve tinting strength and to reduce rub-out, water absorption, and haze effects. Dosage recommendation (supply form) in waterborne acrylic lacquers is 1.3-1.9% and in solvent-borne alkyd lacquers 0.33-0.66%. When used during the premixing phase in the production of waterborne emulsion paints (high PVC), Emulsogen LCN 118 also acts as a processing aid and helps to reduce the grinding time by faster deagglomeration of TiO2 and fillers. This is especially of interest in areas of hard water. The general dosage recommendation (supply form) for this purpose is 0.3%.

  • Dispersogen SP Plus
    Dispersogen SP Plus is a low viscous, anionic additive for organosilicate paints which contain up to 10% water glass (28% active potassium silicate). It acts both as stabilizer and dispersant in such systems, improving the viscosity profile of the formulation and thereby helps to achieve application properties comparable to those of dispersion paints. The recommended dosage is 0.3 – 0.5% in the paint formulation. Dispersogen SP Plus is VOC/SVOC-free, hazard-label-free and APEO-free; thus the ideal ingredient for biocide-free paints with ecolabel certification.

    Dispersogen SPS is a low viscous, cationic stabilizer for mineral paints containing potassium water glass, such as silicate and organosilicate paints. The product reduces the increase in viscosity during storage and helps to improve the rheological profile of the paint. The recommended dosage is 0.5 – 1.5% in the paint formulation. Dispersogen SPS is APEO-free and suitable for ecolabel certified paints. It can be used as stand-alone stabilizer or in combination with Dispersogen SPG/Dispersogen SPV.

  • Dispersogen PLF 100
    Dispersogen PLF 100 is a polymeric dispersing agent. It is distinguished by its superior storage stability, excellent color strength and low foaming during pigment paste fabrication. When applied in a finished paint it shows reduced blocking and low leaching for exterior paints. Dispersogen PLF 100 can be used not only for organic pigments, but also for selected inorganic pigments and carbon black. It is APEO/ NPEO-free, low VOC and free of any organic solvents and structural units of concern. Dispersogen PLF complies with criteria of the European Ecoflower, the German Blue Angel and the Scandinavian Nordic Swan.

    JMAC Composite PG is a preservative active with antimicrobial properties that reduces the spread of bacteria over the long term. The attractiveness of JMAC’s antimicrobial protection is reinforced by its low toxicity, non-sensitizing performance and very low environmental impact. JMAC meets Ecolabel standards for use in paints and coatings. Paint and coatings manufacturers benefit from easy and economical formulation. The JMAC biocides are effective at very small ppm addition levels and offer low viscosity liquid dispersion. Safe handling is assured through the non-flammability, non-corrosive nature of JMAC. For In-can preservation, the excellent thermal and pH stability of JMAC biocides means they can be used in a wide range of industrial applications, such as polymer emulsions, paints, sealants and adhesives.
